GIRL VII

For this project I decided to create a costume based off my skills that I already had and picking up on many new skills, specifically in womenswear. My design is mainly born out of different musicians and people which create this amalgamation of my Inspirations for this particular topic. The main points of inspiration for this project are from album covers, 70s home décor and my love of spring, the transition from winter and the waking up of nature from hibernation. In this project i was the Costume designer, maker, photographer and sourced both the patterns and accessories.

Beauty And The Beast

In this project of Beauty And The Beast, I was tasked with making a costume for a Spice Girls tribute act. During the show, I was assigned to make a sporty styled jerkin for one of the Garçon D’herbs , to do this I used a male jerkin pattern equipped with peplums and epaulettes and had altered the garment so that it would fit all 4 cast members who played said character.
